Christina Rowatt is a journalist, editor and producer with over a decade of experience conducting more than 300 interviews with world-class artists. She hosts Occupy The Void with Xtina, a podcast exploring mental health and creativity, and We Wreck Records, an artist-focused series for New Noise Magazine that explores the albums that moved the needle and the artists who changed music forever.

She previously hosted REVOLVER Fan First for REVOLVER Magazine, featuring conversations with Slash (Guns N’ Roses), Rob Halford (Judas Priest), Serj Tankian (System of a Down) and Maynard James Keenan (Tool), focused on their origins as fans.

Christina began her career producing a late-night metal show for Australian music TV station Channel [V], and later hosted and produced the official backstage channel for Australia’s Soundwave Festival. She also runs her YouTube channel The Void with Christina, where her music documentaries have earned millions of views.

Having lived with a mental health diagnosis for over a decade, she is passionate about advocacy. Through Occupy The Void, she highlights the realities of living with mental health challenges — focusing on resilience, creativity and the ways people continue to do exceptional things, helping to break the stigma that holds us back.
